...HUGE SUCCESS!!!
The start of the 2009 AWBA Tournament season got off to a wonderful start in Largo, Florida at Liberty Lanes. Wayne Weber and his staff of 3 did a great job insuring that all bowlers had great lanes, an accessible facility, and great weather!!!! Paul Cook had the misfortune of not seeing the ramps and decided to go 4 wheeling off the step and as happens in most cases, the step won the battle. However, while Paul did injure his thumb in the tumble, he persevered completing the first 3 game set before his thumb began to swell and he had to withdraw. He stayed however to cheer on the other bowlers. Thanks goes out to the Florida Gulf Coast PVA for their continued support of this great AWBA tournament. Now, it is on to Virginia and the Fred Doty Classic. Entry forms are on the web site and lets all make plans to meet at Indian River Lanes for the 18th year of this great event.

LET’S GET 100 BOWLERS FOR THE NATIONALS IN DALLAS, GEORGIA.
