2011 Vandermark Classic Results

We had 23 total entries when the tournament began. We appreciate the support of the out of state bowlers, Dave Nelson (Nebraska), Fred Sisolak (MA), Paul Cook (TX) and the Georgia regulars. The Vandermark event is handicap only and we do not have roll offs at the conclusion of qualifying as do many other tournaments.
We came to a new house and the shot took some adjustments for most of the bowlers, except for Dave Nelson who bowled his first 600 series as a wheelchair competitor and he never looked back as he led “A” division wire to wire. The “B” division was slightly more competitive throughout the 12 games and Chuck Karczewski also retained his lead throughout qualifying games.
Dave Nelson took HHS with a 754, Ron Johnson HHG (273) in the A division. Chuck Karczewski captured HHS (682) and Tom Martineau took HHG (237) in the B division. I extend my thanks to Mary Ann Templar and Nancy Roberts for lending a hand with the 50/50 raffles and for scoring the tournament too.
